Is it possible to play Media and Music Files on the DSlite? Using the DS browser?
Question by comphockeyplayer215: Is it possible to play Media and Music Files on the DSlite? Using the DS browser?
Is it possible to watch Media or listen to Music files through the Nintendo DS lite Internet Browser? Is there some funny program you have to download onto it?

With the Browser, no. The Browser doesn’t support Flash or Java or anything like that. Needless to say, it IS possible to play audio and video on a DS or DS Lite, but not using the Browser.
Get yourself a flashcart, I recommend the Datel Games n’ Music because it’s available in stores and it’s cheap ($ 20 to $ 40 at Wal Mart or Best Buy or other retailers). It comes with a 128MB microSD card that you put programs, video, audio, and other files on, and it loads .nds homebrew programs. MoonShell is a homebrew program that plays mp3′s and .dpg converted video. I have some videos showing how to use the Games n’ Music device on youtube:

If you’re interested in movies and music on your DS, I recommend getting one. If you want a better one (the GnM can lag on video sometimes), you can buy an R4DS online (online only) for as low as $ 40 but it doesn’t come with a microSD unless you buy a package which is more expensive. The R4 can read the card faster so it can stream higher quality video clips.

Q&A: How do I get windows media player in windows 7 to play music properly?
Question by oldm8: How do I get windows media player in windows 7 to play music properly?
Ok, so I’m trying to listen to some music through Windows Media Player in the newly installed Windows 7 OS. Yesterday it worked fine, but today it plays about 5 seconds of music then stops for about 10 seconds before playing another 5 second snippet so on & so on.
Has anyone else out there had this problem?
If so how did you fix it?

Windows Media Player reports your music to Microsoft, who might have detected it’s pirated or something.
Use the free VLC instead, or use iTunes.

Hook up an ipod via usb to the xbox and access music library, create playlist.. add songs.

It sounds like a problem with your computer’s sound card. First check the setting in iTunes to make sure nothing is set wrong. Then if that doesn’t work, search for updates to your sound card online.

Question by guineagal7: How do you transfer a Windows Media music file into one that will play on iTunes?
I’m trying to take a bunch of old Windows Media Player music files and put them into my iTunes library…but when I right click and select “Play With: iTunes” it won’t play at all…help?
Best answer:
Answer by Icarusforde
you need to convert them. open itunes, then go file>add folder to library. select the folder you want to add, then it will say something like ‘detected WMA format, convert?’ select convert, and they will convert unless they are protected files, which itunes cant convert.
the other alternitive is to rip them onto you pc again from the original disk with itunes
