There seems to be a misconception in many questions posted on YA about programs like iTunes and WMP. Many people seem to think that they are a form of (logical) storage – that files are downloaded or transferred to them or from them. WMP is simply a program that plays files that are stored in folders on your HD (or streaming over the internet). As long as it’s accessible to WMP (whether on your HD, a flash card or a CD) WMP will play or burn it.
If you are trying to burn an MP3 CD (which is a D that will play MP3 files but only play in cd players that say “MP3″ on them) you don’t need wmp or any real burning software – you can just copy and paste to the blank CD, and hit “finalize”.
You only need WMP to burn an audio CD (which will play in any CD player but is limited to about 80 minutes of music).
You really need to get rid of Limewire – and then thoroughly disinfect your PC’s HD.

Is downloading music from Limewire into iTunes/Windows Media Player illegal or copyrighting?
Question by : Is downloading music from Limewire into iTunes/Windows Media Player illegal or copyrighting?
Hi, I just wanted to ask, lets say you wanted songs and music in your iPod or a MP3 player, you download music from Limewire and you put the downloaded songs into your iTunes/Windows Media Player music list so you could sync the songs into your device, is that illegal or copyrighting? And also you didn’t like download music every once a day, you often do it atleast sometimes a month? Is that illegal or copyrighting?

Yes, it is illegal. But almost every teen does it. I do it like once or twice a month to update my ipod. But I do pay for my songs sometimes, when I can go to the store and get a Itunes card. I don’t about copyrighting or anything but it is illegal.
