Q&A: Does anybody know a site where I can download a free, unlimited, music converter?
Question by : Does anybody know a site where I can download a free, unlimited, music converter?
Right…so I have an iTunes account with a shit load of music in it. I want to be able to listen to that music but without the hassle of the iTunes player. So all I want to do is convert the files I have in my iTunes library (all files are of the mp4 format) into .wma files so that I can add them into my Windows Media Player Library. I’ve searched everywhere but I can’t seem to find a site that gives me a free download of a converter with unlimited uses. Generally I will end up with either a limit on the number of conversions, or a restriction on the time of the songs I upload. Either way I don’t want any of this, I’m just looking for a converter that gives me unlimited conversions, unlimited time for those conversions, and of course, I’d like it free.
Any help at all in this task would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Q&A: What is the best free media player out there for Windows XP, or at least media converter?
Question by DoriSai: What is the best free media player out there for Windows XP, or at least media converter?
My computer’s a bit old, and I’m a bit peeved at the many media players I have to download just to play different media types. I want one that can pretty much play the majority of the media types out there (mp3, m4a, flv, divx, wav, midi, avi, flac, and many more) and also hopefully convert. If not, I’d like a decent converter for at least my music since I’d like to transfer to other devices, many of which will only play certain types of files. I just don’t want to have to deal with spending hours finding a plugin to play something, or downloading a whole new media player when I find out one of them doesn’t work… Thus far, my favorite player has been Windows Media Player, it’s standard and easy to use, but the last few times I went looking for plugins I had to pay for them T_T and I dunt wanna do that.

I know you prob won’t want to hear this, but I have found Itunes to be the absolute best with converting and storing my music. Alteast it will be all in the same format and easy to work with.
Simple, automatic conversion, home network sharing, video, audio, raido.
It doesn’t get much better.

Is there a free alternative to the sansa media converter?
Question by Ha-cha-cha: Is there a free alternative to the sansa media converter?
I am looking to convert .avi format videos to….erm…acceptable .avi format videos for the sansa fuze media player. all the .avi videos that i have are rejected by the player. I cannot download the converter at home because its too big, i cannot download it at school because the SMC requires the installation of stuff that a school computer will not allow. I would like to know of a video, picture, music (or just video) converter so that i can watch movies on my mp3 player, without the hassle of installing stuff or waiting days for a 100+ MB file to download. help.

Hi,
I know two cool free video converters I often use ( I am a video director):
Videora and Quick Media converter.
And if you want to put these videos on your iPod or iPhone, I strongly recommend you to have a look at this freeware:
