Does anyone know how to put music onto a Sansa?

Question by katenash115: Does anyone know how to put music onto a Sansa?
I have a list of music saved on Windows Media Player and then I save it to my computer. When I search for it with the media converter, it is not there. Also, I’m not sure if i have the correct plugs. Does it only include one? When I plug the Sansa into the computer it says ‘An error occured during the installation of this process’ Please help!!!

Well I have a sansa and i believe it comes with one plug. You need to download the software onto the computer and then plug in your sansa to the computer with the cables. If you have a list of music on Windows Media Player I believe you would find it under My music and then under playlists. That is all I know because my sansa works perfectly fine!

What do you think? Answer below!

download the latest version of the firmware updater for your mp3 player from the sandisk website along with the latest version of the drivers (which hopefully should fix the error)

for the songs, check under the file bar:
    Tools>Options>Rip settings

if mp3 is not selected, then select it and re-import your music.
all .mp3 files should be able to be sync’d with you WM library or you should be able to open the player in your file browser and ‘copy and paste’ the songs onto it just like a flashdrive or an extra harddrive

if that doesn’t do it, check out the forums at anythingbutipod.com
